The average funeral in South Africa costs R30,000–R60,000. With Samelihle, your monthly membership (from R240) covers all arrangements — casket, hearse, vehicles, tent, flowers, programmes, and gravesite setup.
We offer six packages: Senior Heritage (R240/month), Basic Heritage (R290), Essential Family (R340), Classic Family (R350), Premier Family (R440) and Executive Family (R560). See the Packages section above for everything each one includes.
We serve Brakpan, Springs, Benoni, Boksburg, Nigel, Tsakane, and the greater Ekurhuleni metropolitan area from our Brakpan office. From our Rustenburg branch in Lethabong we serve Rustenburg, Phokeng, Lethabong, Lekgalong, Kanana, Ikageng, Mogwase, Brits and surrounding areas.
Yes, there is a 4-month waiting period from the date your membership starts. After this period, you are fully covered under your chosen benefits package.
We accept Cash (at our Brakpan or Rustenburg office), Debit Order (automatic monthly collection), and EFT (electronic funds transfer).
Your membership covers you plus dependants as per your chosen package. Additional beneficiaries can be added at R60 per month each.
